Teen Health & Wellness provides middle and high school students with nonjudgmental, straightforward, curricular and self-help support, aligned to state, national, and provincial standards. Topics include diseases, drugs and alcohol, nutrition, mental health, suicide and bullying, green living, LGBTQ issues, and more.
All content in Teen Health & Wellness is created for teens with their unique concerns and perspective in mind. Information throughout is presented using a sensitive, respectful, and age-appropriate approach.
Teen-friendly articles makes complex topics understandable. They also give insight into the teen experience—crucial for parents, teachers, librarians, therapists, and others who are a part of teens’ lives and support them.

Youth Volunteers
Student Volunteer Summer Minecraft Camps: July 15-19 & August 19-23, 2024
We are currently looking for student volunteers to help with our two Summer Minecraft Camps at the Keene Public Library. The camps are for ages 7-12 years, with the themes Amusement Park and Greek Gods & Mythical Sea Creatures. Each camp offers a variety of arts, crafts, STEAM activities and outdoor fun along with Minecraft.
Volunteers would be responsible for their own transportation to and from the Gayle Nelson Keene Public Library.
Responsibilities include assisting Program Coordinator and Student Program Assistant with all camp activities. Necessary skills include the ability to work with limited supervision, listening to and following directions, leading small groups or working one-on-one with campers, organizing, and distributing materials, set-up, and clean-up of supplies, and communicating effectively with library staff, fellow volunteers, campers, and parents.
