Our story this week is called:  The Very Greedy Bee.  A greedy bee learns a lesson when he "slurps and burps" too much nectar, falls asleep in a meadow, and needs help from other insects to find his way home after dark.

During the last 2 months we have made a change to our story time.  We have introduced sensory bins.  We start our Wiggles and Giggles with Nora by dancing.  The children love to dance.  Then we have story time followed by some silly songs and more dance.  Our sensory bins come out after our silly songs.

Our story this week is Z is for Moose.  Zebra is absolutely certain he'll be able to direct everyone to appear on the correct page, at the appropriate time, without any mishaps, hurt feelings, or unnecessary drama.  It's the ABC's for goodness' sake.  How difficult can it be? Oh, dear. Zebra forgot about Moose.

Our story this Tuesday October 18th is Trick or Treat Marley written by John Grogan.Marley the high-spirited puppy tries to help his family with a Halloween party. This wonderful story helps to develop children's vocabulary.  Please join us for story time fun, silly songs and crafts.

Our story this week is Bang! Boom! Roar! A busy crew of dinosaurs. While designing and constructing a playground, a building crew of dinosaurs introduces the letters from A to Z.

This month our Every Child Ready to Read is Print Awareness. This book shows how each letter of the alphabet is different and how each word and sentence has a sequence.  Please join us as we hear this fun book on CD and sing our silly songs. We will be creating a fun dinosaur craft.

This is our last week for our Summer Reading Program.  Our Program Coordinator will be on holidays next week and regular story time will start back on Tuesday September 6th at 10 a.m.

Join the Paw Patrol as they search for hidden treasures.

After starting first grade, she mistakenly thinks it will last a full year and is dismayed when it ends in June. Luckily her first grade teacher applies to teach summer school"
